PlaceSpeak is an online public consultation platform that is spatially-based. It makes it possible to consult with people online within specific geographical boundaries. PlaceSpeak is a 2-sided market: (1) participants who use the service for free; and (3) proponents who pay via SaaS for use of the platform. Customers include the private, public and non-profit sectors. Incubated in Vancouver, BC, PlaceSpeak is expanding throughout Canada, the USA, UK, Ireland, and Australia .
